scale + narrative....the body in space

As a precursor to the final exercise of your exquisite corpse we would like you to:
1. take your 'inhabited wall' and divide into its constituent 10 spaces along the plot-lines originally given....retaining any transformations made to accommodate the features of the room or the neighbouring spaces.

2. Taking ownership of your space again - give it a scale.

We'd like you to do this by placing a human figure or figures into the volume....changing the scale of the figure in relationship to the volume will allow you to explore the possibilities. Rather than anonymous stencils - we'd like you to use images of the figure which suggest a narrative - capture them from art, photography, film (your own or others).

3. Experiment with orientation and proportion - what are they watching? You may want to further transform the space you've made

4. Make 3 different interpretations of the volume....your figure might remain the same (apart from changing its scale in relationship to the volume...or be different.

Present 3 images for discussion on Thursday morning at 10.00.
